American Nursing Care in Cincinnati, OH is a very established and reputable nurse staffing agency currently seeking quality, self-driven STNA's to work in our wonderful hospital units on a prn basis. We serve Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, Ohio and Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati.
We have shifts available when you are available!
- Observes and utilizes appropriate technique to perform the following personal care functions:
- Shower/Tub/Bath
- Mouth, skin and nail care
- Assists with bedpan, urinal
- Assists client(s) with transfers to wheelchair, chair, range of motion, ambulation and dressing
- Encourages patient’s self-help with use of special equipment of assists with prescribed exercises.
- Reports changes in body function status to supervisor.
- Feeds patient or assists as needed, encourages fluid intake as appropriate.
- Completes and submits all required documentation in a timely manner.

The Client Relations Coordinator collaborates with physicians, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, extended care facilities, and home care personnel in the process of providing coordinated quality home care services for patients referred to CHI Health at Home.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General:
1. Supports CHI Health at Home’s mission, values, strategic goals and high standards of customer service. Consistently lives People First Behaviors.
2. Adheres to the Corporate Compliance Program, including confidentiality of HIPAA protected health information.
3. Follows the policies and procedures of the company.
4. Other duties as required.
Client Relations Coordinator:
5. Following referral of a patient to CHI Health at Home, assists social workers and/or care coordinators in coordinating quality home care for clients in the following manner:
a) Determines possibility of patient appropriateness for home care.
b) Effectively communicates with appropriate disciplines involved in the care of potential home care clients, and provides information and recommendations to Home Care/Hospice staff.
c) Develops professional working relationships with referral sources, generating an open flow of information and support of home care goals; provides value added counsel, teaching and resourceful problem solving.
d) Available to all discharge planners, physicians, other facility personnel and clients to analyze eligibility and explain Medicare and Medicaid guidelines, insurance plan benefits, financing options, Home Care/Hospice policies, etc.
e) After referral, communicates with attending physicians to obtain verbal or written orders for home care services.
f) Assists in ordering equipment, oxygen, IV’s, etc., as required to provide proper home care for the patient referred to CHI Health at Home.
g) After referral, determines individual patient needs for services, referrals, training and provides patient instructions on home care equipment and/or procedures, etc.
h) When requested, participates in the education of facility personnel on home care regulations, the variety of services available and trends.
i) When requested, participates in educating/in servicing new facility personnel on home care and the importance of the communication of this information to their clients.
j) Meets with the Director, Operations and other Home Care/Hospice associates to ensure continuity of care.
- This is not a retail pharmacy. You will not be working directly with customers.
- Compounding intravenous (IV) solutions.
- Restocking medication dispensing systems.
- Mixing and dispensing medications.
- Shifts are guaranteed and scheduling is flexible.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills and experience is required.
- This is a Phase III Study researching a Covid-19 vaccination.
- Excellent rate of pay direct deposited on a weekly basis.
- Part-time shift opportunities are available.
- Administer vaccinations to patients.
- Provide education and instructions to patients.
- Work in multiple locations including medical facilities and businesses adminstering the vaccinations.
