Alleviating long and unnecessary stays in the hospital, our home infusion team administers intravenous (IV) therapy and treatment in a safe and comfortable setting. Through our experienced and professional pharmacy team, AmeriMed assists patients recovering from surgery, being treated for an infection, or with nutritional needs to maintain an active, healthy lifestyle while receiving care at home. Our goal is to help each patient be an active participant in their care. Through education and partnership with each patient and their caregivers, we teach our patients how to effectively manage their therapy and provide ongoing oversight, coordination and support throughout their therapy.

The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for coordinating and directing all pharmaceutical care services including procurement, compounding, dispensing of medications and all clinical activities of the pharmacy. The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for the leadership, management, recruitment, training and development of pharmacy staff, in support of the organization creating high quality clinical outcomes with a high level of patient satisfaction.


As a Pharmacy Manager at AmeriMed you will:

  • Lead and Manage the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
  • Assist with the recruitment and retention of Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technicians.
  • Take part in defining and maintaining Infustion’s scope of service.
  • Develop and maintain process improvement programs around improving operational performance, hospital to home programs and home infusion outcomes measures.
  • Participate in decisions regarding pharmaceutical care services and ethical issues.
  • Assist with developing, reviewing and revising policies and procedures for home infusion.
  • Ensure all pharmacy practices follow AmeriMed’s policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the necessary documentation for state and federal regulatory agencies is easily retrievable and current. 
  • Maintain all pharmacy licenses and permits.
  • Ensure the preparation of sterile parenteral products are compounded in accordance with sterile technique and are within the guidelines set forth by the State Board of Pharmacy, USP, ASHP and OSHA.
  • Assist with controlling cost and inventory for the pharmacy.
  • Performs the duties of the Staff Pharmacist as needed.


  • Active Ohio Pharmacist License.
  • One year management experience.
  • Experience working in a multi-discipline environment.
  • Experience with cost and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication skills.
