Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic communications professional to join our Communications, Marketing and Talent Development team in Milford, OH.  The Program Specialist provides local, regional, and national communication and marketing support and outreach through a number of platforms. The Program Specialist will oversee project management, implementation and messaging support for organization-wide initiatives and strategic priorities. The ideal candidate for this role must have hands-on experience writing, editing, creating digital content and serving in project lead roles. In addition to supporting specific department and company initiatives, this role will also operate as a strategic partner and consultant to leaders across the organization.

 

What you will do:

  • Serve as a key point of contact for departments and services lines to develop and execute program-specific marketing and communication initiatives through dynamic web content, marketing collateral, community outreach, social media and public relations.
  • Support collateral development and implementation in coordination with graphic designers, partners, service line leaders, and senior leadership.
  • Create, implement and oversee communication, marketing and educational programs that effectively convey priorities, aligns to brand, promotes standardization and increases the professional appearance of the organization. 
  • Play a key role in creating and implementing innovative solutions and programs to enhance communication strategies to support leaders and employees and build engagement across the organization. 
  • Provides perspective and management of project plans, content, project requests, and department initiatives and makes recommendations to the Senior Director for efficiencies, improvements and solutions.

Qualifications

  • Five years of experience managing projects and key priorities, health care a plus.  
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field. 
  • Excellent communication skills including creating, writing and editing, in a variety of platforms.
  • CMS management experience, developing and maintaining web content and websites.
  • Social media content management and campaign experience. 
  • Ability to adhere to brand and editorial style guidelines.
  • Self-started with the ability to turnaround clean content quickly.
  • Ambitious with a creative mind, ability to problem solve, brainstorm and think outside the box.
  • Ability to manage, organize, and plan for multiple moving projects at once.
  • Willingness to be flexible.
  • Great attitude and willingness to serve.
