The posted compensation range of $32.08 - $46.51 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
As a Sonographer at CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson, you'll provide good quality examinations on patients using various ultrasound equipment. The Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures as they evolve. This position supports the mission, vision and philosophy of CHI and St. Alexius Health-Dickinson Medical Center.
Every day, you will perform various tests on patients. You’ll apply your independent judgment relative to all technical imaging procedures for patients.
CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson part of CommonSpirit Heath a national nonprofit health system based in Englewood, Colorado. The faith-based system operates in 18 states and includes 103 hospitals. Responsibilities
- Utilizes innovative customer service techniques to provide a positive patient care experience for the patient and their family.
- Correctly operates ultrasound equipment within scope of practice.
- Perform a variety of complex specialized tasks utilizing ultrasonic high frequency sound waves to detect abnormalities including masses, abscesses, and stones.
- Assists physicians with biopsy procedures, guided biopsy instruments using sonographic techniques.
- Able to utilize electronic health records including utilizing PACS and the essential functions of the system.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiology or Ultrasonography.
- North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy State License (Sonographer: ND).
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) (12 months).
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Knowledgeable in basic computer skills, PACS and Meditech
Preferred:
- ARDMS Registered or registry eligible.
